Prof. Bret Weinstein speaks with Professor Mattias Desmet
A fascinating invaluable insight into our current situation and beyond.
Anyone who has been keeping a close and watchful eye on the steady but ever increasing technocratically driven totalitarian control that has taken hold of the greater part of the world over the course of the last two or so years would have more than likely come across the name ‘Mattias Desmet’ on more than a few occasions.
I’d first become aware of Professor Mattias Desmet around September of 2021 via an interview on the ‘Pandemic Podcast’ hosted by Dan Astin-Gregory.
For me, it was an absolute revelation!
Like many, I’d already suspected there was something pretty darn awry going on.. but couldn’t make head or tail of it! Not to mention the fact that I was blindly unaware of the overall depth and frightening societal implications of what were revealed in this all important and enlightening one hour podcast interview.
Professor Desmet explained in no uncertain terms.. why so many of my friends just couldn’t see for the life of them what I was seeing so clearly! And perhaps even more importantly - why they were reacting towards me in such a highly defensive way — to the point of dismissive eye-rolls, FaceBook de-friendings and even infuriated outrage!
A huge relief was offered toward the end of the interview, where Prof. Desmet assured his host and his listeners that ‘totalitarian regimes ALWAYS collapse internally’ and as a result, the mass formation on which it was built cannot sustain its absurdly nonsensical ideology.
I sent a link to the interview to all my friends who, up to this point, seemed just as bamboozled as I was. Every single one of them seemed equally as relieved to have received an academically certified, thoroughly researched explanation for the absurdity we were not only witnessing, but experiencing on a daily basis.
I also sent the video link to those of my friends I strongly suspected were perhaps caught up in the grips of the hypnotic processes of the mass formation this ‘Ghent University Professor of Psychology’ spoke of — THEY NEVER EVEN REPLIED! Which of course, added even more weight of validation to the professor’s offered theory.

I highly recommend investing two hours to listen to this fascinatingly in-depth (at times philosophical) interview/conversation between two highly accredited and experienced professors of biology and psychology respectively.

Thanks and yes. I have never thought these totalitarian elitists have got a very good chance going forward. Never in history have these regimes ever been ultimately successful.
