I know many of you have suffered greatly.. and continue to suffer as a result of the unbridled insanity, intolerable injustice and mental anguish experienced over the course of the last two years. It is an incredibly desperate feeling of utter helplessness witnessing the menticidal and democidal slaughter of all society and seemingly not being able to do a single thing about it.
Last summer when I first heard an interview with Mattias Desmet explaining mass formation I remember feeling shock mixed with a tiny bit of relief at just having the insanity explained. No matter what information I put in front of my husband he would not consider it. He even told me at one point that I was a “conspiracy theorist” listening to “misinformation”, which is just an obvious parroting of what he had heard in the corporate media. Trying to explain how the media has been unreliable and compromised for many years fell on deaf ears too.
Hell, I’ve known for over 20 years that the media here in the US was mostly propaganda because I have been blessed to have friends in college from Syria and Hungary open my eyes to that reality, not to mention the sack of lies we were sold about 9/11. I made the mistake of thinking that everyone else around me knew to be skeptical of the media and to ask questions. Unfortunately when most people are frightened they stop using logic and reason.
I have found David Charalambous’s website reachingpeople.net very helpful in understanding strategies to talk to very indoctrinated people and to unpack all the ways we have been manipulated. Also Thich Nhat Hanh, the recently deceased Zen Buddhist master, books have been a tremendous help in teaching me ways to keep my sanity and lessen the anger and anxiety.
Yes, I know what you mean. The first time I’d heard of Prof Mattias Desmet was on a podcast with Dan Astin-Gregory ‘The Pandemic Podcast’. For me it was an absolute revelation, because I already suspected there was something going on, but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. He finally explained in no uncertain terms.. why so many of my friends couldn’t see what I was seeing, and why they were reacting to me in such a defensive way (to the point of dismissive eyerolls and FaceBook de-friendings). The biggest relief was toward the end of the interview where he assured his host and his listeners that ‘totalitarian regimes ALWAYS collapse internally’ and that the mass formation cannot sustain its absurd ideology as a result. I sent that interview to all my friends who were as bamboozled as I was.. all of them were equally as relieved! On the other-hand… I also sent it to those I suspected were under the hypnosis.. they never even replied. Thanks for the links… I’ll check them out. Cheers. 👍
